the game//

In this First Person 3D Fast platformer, you will have to gain and keep speed while launching your teleporter to access unreachable zones. Get to the end of levels as fast as you can to find and kill the parasites mother which occupies the area.

environnement//

The environnement of Shift needed to be vast and relatively open. Because of the limited size of the team, I had to come up with solutions as to how to make levels that would be big and belivable but that could be built fast. We had a brutalist environnement in mind and parasite that contaminates it. So, using only two textures that i realized using Substance Designer, I made a custom tiling shader and a custom light treatment that would make their repetition unseeable.

Character//

The character of Shift is imaginated to represent a cyborg figure that is inspired by retro futurism. For the UI, I was inspired by 80's car dashboard
